How often should I update my website?
Google (and other search engines) love to see new content on your website. That being said you should update your website with new and updated content as much as possible. The trick in updating your website is having a good balance between pushing out useful and real content and then not pushing new content out for the sake of it as Google will pick this up as spam. With most of our websites we provide a news section that allows clients to publish news which is a form of new content. We often recommend that they publish a new news story 3 or 4 times a month if possible.
