Alacrify COVID19 Business Continuity Plan

Share

17th March 2020

In light of recent global events surrounding the Corona Virus, Alacrify as a business has had to make some difficult decisions about how to respond to this emergency. We have decided to take clear action to ensure the safety of our staff and customers, and to do what we can to stop any potential spread of, or exposure to, the virus through our work.

From Wednesday 18th March we will close our Dorchester office as a workplace.
Someone will be coming in once a day to check our answer machine messages.

Although the office is closing we are still going to be operating as normal.

We're in a fortunate position (given the circumstances) that we can all work from home, remotely. This means we will all have access to our emails and will continue working on current and new projects as we normally would if we were in the office.

The only minor changes our clients may notice is that our response times to phone calls may be slightly longer, and our face to face meetings will be replaced with phone calls or video conferences while the office is closed. We will of course be returning all phone calls but these may take a little longer than normal. It is best to contact us by email. If you would like to arrange a phone call then email us first and we can call you from home.

Other than our response time and changes to our face to face meetings we intend to operate as "business as usual".

Due to these unusual circumstances we are unable to give a time frame on how long these measures will be in place. We will continue to monitor the situation every couple of days and also follow any further guidelines issued by the UK Government.

To all our clients, please stay safe and contact us by email if you have any questions or need to talk to us regarding any work in progress.

With warm wishes from all the team at this difficult time, and always,
Jon, James, Jonathan and Lesley
