New Website for Hull and District Chess Association

Alacrify is pleased to announce the relaunch of Hull and District Chess Association’s website.
We have just launched a new website for Hull Chess Club, a new client of Alacrify’s. Their old website had started to become dated and wasn’t mobile friendly. The president of the club got in touch with us and asked us to redevelop the site with a new design, make it mobile friendly, add our Content Management System and improve the usability of the site.
The website is now a completely ‘responsive’ design, which means it ‘collapses’ down for all screen sizes including tablets and mobiles. It passes all of Google’s ‘mobile-friendliness’ tests, so it is listed on Google searches as an ‘awesome’ responsive website.
It’s important that Hull Chess have an easy to use site as a lot of their members use the website to find out results, fixtures and important news and events happening inside the club. The website has completely fresh new look and feel about it, ditching the pale-yellow colour scheme and going for something that’s timeless and classic. We’re really proud of the site we produced for Hull Chess and we hope the club and their members love it as much as we do.
