Craig’s Farm Dairy

The Client

Craig’s Farm Dairy is a local dairy producer with an established online presence showcasing the farm and its range of dairy products. Having worked with Craig’s Farm Dairy for many years, Alacrify had also developed an earlier version of their website.

As the website aged and the way people accessed the web changed, it became clear that the existing site needed modernising to better serve both the business and its customers.

The Project

Alacrify was asked to give the Craig’s Farm Dairy website a complete redesign and technical update. The existing website was no longer responsive, meaning it wasn't providing the best experience for visitors using smartphones and tablets, and it also needed to be moved onto a secure SSL connection.

Alongside a fresh, modern website design, we rebuilt the site using responsive website design so it would work effectively across desktop, tablet and mobile devices. We also installed an SSL certificate to provide visitors with a secure HTTPS connection.

We also improved the website's Content Management System, making it much easier for Craig’s Farm Dairy to update their own website content and, importantly, manage their product range and pricing without having to rely on us for routine changes.

The Result

The completed website gave Craig’s Farm Dairy a much more modern, secure and mobile-friendly online presence while retaining the information and functionality important to the business.

The improved management system also gave the team greater control over their website, allowing products, prices and general content to be kept up to date more easily. Initial feedback following the launch was positive, and the project provided Craig’s Farm Dairy with a website better equipped for the way customers browse the web today.
