Green Jersey French Cycling Tours specialises in guided cycling holidays and tours across France, giving customers the opportunity to explore different regions of the country by bike.

With a range of tours available throughout the year, their website is an important part of the customer journey, helping potential guests discover suitable cycling holidays, check availability and make a booking online.

The Project

Green Jersey needed a website that could do more than simply showcase their cycling tours. The project required an engaging, image-led design alongside practical functionality that would make finding and booking a tour as straightforward as possible.

Alacrify developed a full-screen website design that makes greater use of Green Jersey's imagery while providing clear routes into the different tours available. The site was built using responsive website design, allowing customers to comfortably browse tours and make enquiries or bookings across desktop, tablet and mobile.

Behind the scenes, we also developed new booking management functionality within the Alacrify Content Management System, giving the Green Jersey team greater control over bookings and availability.

The Result

The finished website combines an immersive showcase of Green Jersey's French cycling holidays with the functionality required to manage and sell tours online.

Customers can quickly explore available cycling tours, check availability and progress towards making a booking, creating a much simpler journey from discovering a holiday to securing a place.

For Green Jersey, the bespoke management facilities within the CMS also make the administrative side of running their tours easier, bringing important booking information and website management together within one system.
