A Wash and Brush Up
We've just finished an update to a website for one of our longest-standing clients; Sally Pinhey Watercolours. Sally is one of Britain's foremost botanical artists and to coincide with the publication of a new book of Dye Plants which features 56 of her illustrations, we were asked to update her website with new images and content, and also to spruce up the code so it could be maintained more easily.
Sally also teaches botanical illustration and watercolour courses in her local area. She needed a means to update the course information herself as and when new courses were advertised and run. We created a new set of easy-maintenance features to enable this to happen and to ensure that the site content is never out of date.
In the updates we also made the navigation easier, tidied the code to be XHTML compliant and improved the site's accessibility.
