Website Repair Gets Site Back Online

When you migrate an existing website to a new hosting provider a whole lot of things can end up breaking. Different versions of code libraries, deprecated script functions, file systems and all sorts of configuration variations can stop your site working.
This week we were asked to help get an existing site up and running following just such a migration. The new hosting company was running newer versions of PHP and MySQL, had a different file structure, and a whole variety of little variations that meant that the previous code no longer worked in the new environment.
We spent several hours working through all the changes and are pleased to say the site is now live again.
