New Website For The Lost Words Dorset
We've been enthusiastic supporters of #TheLostWords project to present all Dorset primary and first schools with copies of The Lost Words, and now we have built a completely new website for the project.
Published on: 18th October 2018
The website is an internal project of ours and one that’s needed attention for a while. The main aim of the redesign was to make the website responsive and easier for users to navigate around.
We’re really passionate about making this site a really useful destination for people and businesses living in Weymouth or Portland aswell as people coming down to visit. The site contains useful information of where to eat, visit, stay, shop and much more. We’re looking to grow the site as much as we possibly can and hopefully with the help of businesses in Weymouth and Portland we can. We charge a small fee for businesses to list their business on our site. Aswell as a business listing in their relevant sector/section we will be tweeting out on the @weyandportinfo Twitter account over the year. If you have a business in Weymouth or Portland and would like to have your listing on our site then get in touch today.
We’re really pleased to how the site turned out. Users of the old site will see a complete overhaul in the design and hopefully find it much easier to find what they’re looking for or interested in. Aswell as business listings we have a news facility and an events facility where we will be posting news and events that are happening around Weymouth and Portland.
Be sure to check back on the Weymouth and Portland website regularly as we’re always adding to it!

We're delighted to introduce our two new team members who are joining Alacrify this month. Lesley Smith is Alacrify's new Personal Assistant, and Lynne Pattison joins as a Project Assistant.
Green Union has been a client of Alacrify for many years now and this website was a kind of third generation build. We built the original website a few years back and it’s had some updates made to it over the years but this time the new owner wanted to put her own stamp on things and create something fresh and new.
This post will deliver administrative support to the business and help to increase the quality of communication between the business and our clients. It will also provide extra resource to help with content development and social media work and improve the pro-active support that is offered to our clients.
