Brilliant Culmination To Our Work With #DorsetCountyShow

Following our redesign of the Dorset County Show website for 2017 - a site we've looked after for over seven years - we set out to develop an entirely new section of the site to promote Traders and Exhibitors who were booked to attend the Show. We spent many hours and days researching, curating and publishing over 450 trader pages on the site in the months running-up to the Show weekend. This exercise built our understanding of the businesses who were attending and gave us a great opportunity to network with them on Twitter in the months running up to the Show.

We started to manage the Show's Twitter account from late June, using it to strengthen the networks of exhibitors and announce their presence at the Show in September. As the months passed the engagement grew from a few thousand impressions in the first month to reach over 600,000 impressions by the end of the Show.

We "Live Tweeted" as @DorsetCShow from the Showground on both days, in the sun and rain, and actively promoted the brilliant activities happening around the Show rings, marquees and arenas, alongside the exhibitions and stalls of the traders. As we took photos of many of the stands, activities and animals, we were bowled over by the sheer positivity and spirit of all those attending and contributing to the Show weekend. Looking through the timeline there's a real sense of exuberance and fun!

We will continue to Tweet on behalf of the Show until everyone is thanked, and will be responding to the kind and lovely comments that people have sent through to the Show's Twitter account. Our Trader pages will continue to be listed on the Show website to allow the public to get in touch with people after the Show is over; Christmas isn't that far away!

It has been a real pleasure to work alongside Will and Rebecca, and their awesome team. We're proud to have been Sponsors in 2017, and are full of admiration for the amazing achievement that has been the 2017 Dorset County Show.

New Website For R-em Therapies

We have just launched a new website for Emma at R-EM Therapies. R-EM Therapies is a new client of Alacrify’s that we’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with. R-EM came to us needing a new website as the old site was starting to show its age. The old site also wasn’t responsive and was also unsecure which negatively impacted the site's search engine rankings as well as being hard for users to access on their mobiles and tablets.

New Website For Ecs Special Projects

We have just launched a new website for ECS Special Projects. This is another website of ours that we originally built many years ago. The old site stood the test of time and still performed very well in Google searches, but the time had come for the look and feel to be updated in line with more contemporary design approaches.

New Website For Volunteer Centre Dorset

We have just launched a new website for Volunteer Centre Dorset. We designed and built their original site but over the years more and more content had been added to the site as well as additional functionality. This made the old site, over time, more cluttered and harder to navigate because of the vast amount of information on there.

New Website For Dorchester Community Plays Association - Spinning The Moon

Dorchester Community Plays Association commissioned us to create a brand new website to support their 7th Community play, "Spinning The Moon", which will be performed in 2020.
