Alacrify is 10 Years Old!

On the 20th December Alacrify turned 10! Ten years since transforming Jon's 8 year old business as a sole-trader into a limited company with Bill Crumbleholme.

The years have brought many changes, to staff, location, clients and expertise.

• We've employed 10 people, worked with many sub-contractors, provided training to 4 apprentices, and offered work experience a further 4 people.
• We moved from working at the kitchen table, to a garden office, to lovely offices at the Top 'O Town in Dorchester.
• Many of our clients have been with us for almost all of the 15 years, with new ones joining us every month; with over 300 currently live websites and new projects in the pipeline for businesses from sole traders to multi-national FTSE companies.
• Our experience has grown from "simple" HTML sites and graphic design, to ecommerce, Search Engine Optimisation, Google Adwords, Social Media Marketing, Shopify, marketing strategy, print design and production, responsive website design, training, business administration, technical support and media development.

It gives me great joy to run the business, and to be given the opportunity to help to make our clients' businesses even more successful through building their presence online.

It is extraordinary to think of all the people we affect and jobs we support and communities we serve through the sites we build and maintain.

Our long commitment to social, charity and community projects continues to be a key part of our work and passion. These projects have included a credit union, children's charities, disability charity, therapy organisations, a housing society, dementia association, local arts and events groups, national support networks and more.

Finally, Alacrify would be nothing without the team who work here; and our current staff team are brilliant to work with, more kind, thoughtful and committed than you'd dare to hope for. They combine technical skillfulness and understanding with a real commitment to customer service and bring a creativity and enthusiasm to our work that is refreshing and always inspiring. Thank you to them and to everyone who has worked for and with Alacrify in these past 10 years.

We're thrilled to be celebrating this birthday milestone, and are looking forward to continuing to support and serve our clients, new and old, over many more years to come!
