Art Trail for Dorset Art Weeks 2006
We have just launched our new Dorset Art Weeks art trail for Portland, Martinstown, Weymouth and Upwey.
Researched, designed and published by Bill Crumbleholme it features several art venues and destinations with a diverse collection of work on show during the county's premier art event. The fortnight starting from the 27th May is a showcase of Dorset's artistic community.
The trail that Bill has put together takes in oil painters, potters, ceramicists, photographers, watercolour painters, miniaturists, sculptors, textile artists and a tiara maker! All within 7 miles of the historic iron age fortress of Maiden Castle.
You can find copies of the trail in the Tourist Information Centre in Dorchester or in Monkton Gallery, in Winterborne Monkon, or in the Old School at Upwey. Otherwise you might like to download a copy from our site here.
