I've just been researching Google's latest advice and services to optimise a client's website.

Google's tools are certainly useful for tracking how well a website is found and how to increase the hit rate for relevant enquiries.

This can be important for clients working in relatively small niches, who want to be found so they can give out information to a specific target audience, rather than make sales. This is different to the tactics of the big boys hunting down massive sales within a fiercely competitive market place.
