New Marshwood Vale Photography and Stories by Robin Mills

This month we have updated the website for Dorset farmer and photographer, Robin Mills with a number of new stories and photographs from the Marshwood Vale magazine.

Robin Mills photography and stories from the Marshwood Vale

Robin's stories are about local people from around West Dorset and amongst his collection is one featuring Peter Thomas a retired farmer and now a renowned wood turner and stick maker. It makes for a wonderful read and illustrates the challenges and changes faced by UK farmers over recent years. Robin describes Peter's transition from farming to wood turning and captures Peter's passion for making beautiful things out of timber.

We've had the pleasure of working for Peter too over the years, designing and printing flyers for him and helping with the flyers and signage for the country show that he organised in Rampisham a couple of years ago. Robin's story really captures Peter's energy and enthusiasm for life and the joy of creating things of great beauty.

Robin is also accepting portraiture commissions now and you can find more details by getting in touch with him: contact Robin here.
