We hope you'll look them up for your next building project, particularly if you're seeking a company that specialises in traditional techniques and period homes.

From Ricardo Builders' site:

'Ricardo Builders Ltd are a traditional building company based in Dorchester, the county town of Dorset, working throughout the south west of England. We are a family owned company who are contracted to carry out all aspects of construction works from property refurbishments, new building contracts, extensions, to day to day maintenance works.'

'Individual contracts regardless of value, are treated with the same attention to detail and through project management ensures that the client is left completely satisfied with the end result. A wealth of experience and general knowledge has been built over many years working on period buildings such as local churches, museums, cottages, Georgian houses to name a few.'

'The company has an added advantage of running its own in house joinery shop which is able to manufacture all aspects of general joinery such as doors, windows, staircases, period mouldings to match original patterns. All timbers such as English Oak, Ash, Elm, Mahogany are sourced and used on a daily basis, to produce joinery for clients as required or specified. We offer our own design service working closely with the client, local planning authorities, conservation officers and architects to ensure the contract and works run as smoothly as expected. '
