What Brought the Team Together

The meeting of minds :: Jon and Bill found themselves to be kindred spirits with similar outlooks on life and the desire to make the world a better place. They also found shared interests in cooking, gardening and sea fishing, and striving to feed their families with healthy food. (In fact Alacrify board meetings have become a time of mild competition in which Jon and Bill strive to create delicious and memorable meals from local and home-grown ingredients following the official business of the meeting.)
While attending pottery classes run by Bill, Jon insisted on rounding off the evening in the pub where various ideas were sounded out, the seeds for Alacrify were sown.
Sea Bass. Jon and Bill love going fishing off Chesil Beach on the Jurassic Coast. This beautiful fish was caught in 2007 and will be forever remembered as 'Roger'!
2009 A year of change :: In the summer of 2009 Bill left Alacrify to found a new arts development and marketing company with his wife, called ArtSeeker. ArtSeeker is built on Bill's many years of involvement in arts development and the arts community, and during his time at Alacrify this project has been under continual development. In August 2009 the project reached a state where it became viable as a business and so ArtSeeker Ltd was born. Alacrify will continue to support ArtSeeker, providing the web systems that are needed to make this project a success.
With Bill's departure and an influx of new clients over the Summer, Alacrify has now appointed two new web developers to work alongside Jon. They will bring additional skills to the company, and should ensure that the service standards that have underpinned the company's growth and reputation continue to be a hallmark of Alacrify into the future.
Looking ahead :: over the past months Alacrify has developed a number of new business relationships with other IT companies in who wish to offer Web Services to their clients. Alacrify works in partnership to help these companies provide 360° IT services to their partners' clients. If you are interested in working with Alacrify in this way then do get in touch.
