About Us

Bluebell Woods. This bluebell wood photo was taken by Jon Sloper in 2007 at Parson's Copse near to Jon's office in Maiden Newton, Dorset.

We are a design business based in Dorset, England. Normally if you contact us you'll get to speak to Jon Sloper. In August and September 2009 we appointed Peter Rickard and Stefan Warman. Major changes to the company meant that Pete left Alacrify in January 2010. His contributions to the company were much appreciated and he left Alacrify with our very best wishes for his future endeavours.

Jon and his wife are sole Directors of Alacrify. Jon's area of expertise and interest is in the design process and technical programming, although as with most small businesses he also sorts out most of the day-to-day admin and finance too. Maiden Castle. This Iron Age hillfort lies between Alacrify's two Dorset offices just on the outskirts of Dorchester.

We have a number of companies that work with us to provide services that we can't supply to our clients. We also work for a number of other companies as specialist designers for their clients. This symbiosis is a really good way to work in our experience. It means we can benefit from our partners' expertise and offer a more complete package of services to our clients. We feel we offer reciprocal good value to our partners too.
