Feedback from Macmillan Cancer CareAlacrify is pleased to support Macmillan, by designing and building a new website for the Christmas Shopping Fair.

This is one of many charitable and community websites that we support, as part of our values-driven focus.

The fair has been running for many years and has over 40 stalls offering a wide range of high quality products to suit most tastes and wallets. It is an ideal opportunity for discerning shoppers to fulfil nearly all their Christmas shopping under one roof, with many products not available on the High Street.

This year the fair will be on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th November at Kingston Maurward College. All funds raised go directly to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Macmillan Cancer Support improves the lives of people affected by cancer. We are all affected by cancer; almost half of us will get cancer at some point in our lives. Every day 15 people in Dorset hear the devastating news that they have cancer; there are over 30,000 people in Dorset living with cancer. As treatments improve, the total number of people living with cancer in Dorset will almost double by 2030.

The new website is a completely ‘responsive’ design which means it ‘collapses’ down for all screen sizes including tablets and mobiles. The Macmillan Christmas Shopping Fair passes all of Google’s ‘mobile-friendliness’ tests, so it is listed on Google searches as an ‘awesome’ responsive website.
