We're looking for an experienced PHP Developer to join our team and help to develop and maintain custom web applications for our clients.
The work is diverse and requires an awareness of solution design as well as technical attention to detail. Design flair and UX awareness will be useful.
The initial work will be focused on working through a series of development tasks and application improvements for a major client's web-hosted, business application, with scope to work on a broader range of client projects if the initial project goes well.
The work will be based in our Dorchester office to allow rapid development / decision making and effective management of the project.
The initial work will be for 2 days per week for 2 months, with the option to adjust and extend this depending on the success of the candidate and the quality of their work. (Ideally we'd like to consider this as a possible route to a permanent role in the business.)
Please provide a CV and a portfolio. We would also appreciate some code samples too.
We are proud to be able to support dozens of social, charity and community groups that do so much to make our world a better and kinder place. It's a key part of our values and work at Alacrify and has been part of our business life from the very beginning.
On March 26th (2018) Google announced it’s rolling out ‘Mobile-First Indexing’. So what does this mean? Essentially Google has made the decision to index pages from mobiles sites first rather than desktop sites. This could have a huge impact if your site isn’t mobile friendly (responsive).
Alacrify is pleased to announce the relaunch of The Hashtag Directory website. We have just relaunched The Hashtag Directory, an internal project of ours. The original website we created needed updating and was also a year or two old.
