Get your Skates on in Southampton this Christmas
We have just launched the website www.southamptonskating.co.uk on behalf of Western Marquees - for whom we also launched their rebuilt corporate website recently (you can read more on that project here).
Western Marquees (under the name of Western Skating) hosted this popular Ice Skating event in Salisbury last year, proving to be a big hit with hundreds of people taking to the ice during the Festive period.
2011 sees the launch of this feature in the popular Bargate area of Southampton City Centre, ensuring thousands of shoppers and visitors will have the chance to book their 45 minute slot on the under cover ice rink, whilst enjoying the sights and smells of the annual German Christmas Market held in the same area.
We haved worked closely with David and Amanda from Western Marquees to ensure that the website, which features an online booking and payment facility, is straight forward enough for customers to use and the site's owners to administer.
The system makes use of the popular QR code system, allow for quick scanning of payment receipts to ensure booked participants can be quickly verified for their alloted time on the ice.
