Picking up the Reins

Following last week's few days out of the office I am now picking up the reins again, and starting to deal with the mountain of emails that accumulated while I was off. Having lost over a stone in weight I'm going to have to be careful not to overdo it in these first few days as I've not got the fitness and strength to work long days to catch up with everything.

Key on my list of priorities are the websites for ArtWey and Bridport Open Studios. Bridport Open Studios takes place over the August Bank Holiday weekend which is at the end of the week. Most of the work has already been completed for this site, but there's still some work to do to make the most of the fantastic art that is on show during the event.

We've included the fantastic Google Maps API in the site to allow us to show where the venues are using the satellite view. This means in the rural areas around Bridport you can see exactly where to go to find the artists' work.

The Bridport Open Studios and ArtWey websites are run by ArtSeeker, the company set up by former Alacrify directors Bill and Diane Crumbleholme. It is great to still be working together on this project and there are many more developments for the project in the pipeline.
