Dry Island Relaunch
Following on from yesterday's notice about the revisions to the two websites New Shoots and New Directions we are pleased to announce the relaunch of the first of the two websites --- www.dryisland.co.uk

The New Design. Dry Island's new website features beautiful photos of the island's stunning highland location. A really idyllic getaway on the West Coast of Scotland.
We've brought the design that we originally created about 7 years ago right up to date by subtle use of colour, text and photography. It features images taken by Jess and Ian at Dry Island, supplemented with images from iStockPhoto's photo library. This mixture gives a high quality impact to the site that the stunning location deserves.
The new layout is fixed-width rather than fluid and allows much more control over the placing of the text and images on the 'page'. Using a slideshow effect for the masthead also gives an immediate sense of attraction as you wait for the next beautiful picture to emerge.
Our intention is that the changes will make the site more 'sticky' so visitors will stay longer to view the beautiful images, and that they'll also be tempted to pick up the phone and make a reservation at one of the most beautiful holiday destinations in the UK.
