Bed and Breakfast Website Rebranding

Today we launched a new incarnation of the website for one of West Dorset's loveliest Bed and Breakfasts - Wooden Cabbage. In order to build on the response rate from visits to the website we proposed a redesign earlier this year and put together a series of visuals to illustrate potential new approaches to the design.

Before the update. The blocky design presented all the information, but in a way that didn't soothe the eye, or cause visitors to linger on the site, so we went back to the drawing board and presented an alternative design to the owners.

Over the summer we have been compiling artwork and text with the owners to create a lovely website, showing off the fabulous B&B to its fullest potential.

Afterwards - a more harmonious design. The new design features a slideshow masthead image on every page, plus a gentler and more relaxing design that better reflects the peaceful beauty of this stunning Bed and Breakfast.

We have assisted with the development of the artwork and the text on the site, focusing on a seamless combination of visual appeal and aspirational writing that hopefully will encourage people to book into this exceptional Bed and Breakfast.

Touring the B&B. A finishing touch on the site was the development of a slideshow of beautiful images of the accomodation and its location to give potential visitors a real sense of this fantastic B&B.

We are all looking forward to seeing whether the new design leads to increased bookings and will post updates when we begin to get feedback. We've resubmitted to the site for indexing to Google, Yahoo, Bing and Ask Jeeves and are watching Google Analytics closely to see the results.
