ArtWey Open Studios in Weymouth and Portland
Every weekend in September 2009 Weymouth & Portland artists open their studios for the public to visit.
It is a rare opportunity to meet visual artists such as painters, sculptors and potters in their natural environment! Visitors can look at their work, talk to the creators and maybe even have a go at it themselves.
They can buy or commission artworks and find out about future events such as exhibitions and workshops.
The Weymouth Museum at Brewers Quay is hosting an exhibition of work by all the artists, open 7 days a week.
The event will be supported by an A2 sized fold out Route Map, with details of the venues, together with this website. These Route Maps can be picked up at the venues (particularly the galleries and Brewers Quay), the local Tourist information centres and art centres.
